Hi Chrys. Congratulations for your trimaran. Good job.
A question : why did choose 10ft for length ?
Perhaps a 14 ft is more efficient when water is chopped ? What do you think ?
Regards
Joel
Its a very good question how long. I made it originally 10ft just because it was 1/3 of 30 feet. Easy to transport. But yes 14 feet makes much more sense and faster. But 14 still not that fast. You can see larer in my blog I built a 18 ft long trimaran. That is really fast. Doing easy 15 knot. And 12-14 knot upwind. But much more difficult to handle.
Maybe 16ft is a good length?
